Tara is proud to be a part of the Massage Therapy profession and share her passion for health and wellness with others. SHE loves the opportunity to help facilitate people’s journeys to optimum health.

SHE offers her clients a comprehensive consultation, assessment, treatment, a self care and prevention plan by combining her knowledge of therapeutic yoga movement and massage therapy together .

Being a female athlete in her youth and now later in life having endured injuries, traumas, PTSD, surgeries and other health obstacles. Tara understands the importance of being confident and capable in your body so you can be active and enjoy life.

Tara’s approach encompasses various Fascial Release methods, Visceral Manipulation, Joint Manipulation, Neuromuscular Activation, Orthopaedics, Therapeutic Mobility Exercise and Stability Training.

Her interests are in female physiology, pelvic health, Visceral and abdominal function, pre & post natal care and general tissue health for an optimal lifestyle.

Tara has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist since 2011, following her completion of the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. This program included an extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathology’s, assessments and orthopeadic testing, therapeutic exercises and joint mobilizations.

Post graduation Tara immediately chose mentorship and in clinic educations with a nation wide multidisciplinary clinic. SHE has over 900hrs in continued training focusing in Therapeutic Yoga and Anatomy, Exercise Rehabilitation, Fascial Release, Active Release, stretching and stability exercise.

Most recently her deeper interest in female physiology has lead her to pelvic and abdominal Visceral Massage.

Prior to her Registered Massage training Tara practiced and studied Five Element Acupressure, Thai Massage, Spa Massage, Hatha, Iyengar, Yin, Bow-spring, Anusara ,Therapeutic and Trauma Sensitive yoga, Thai Chi and Qi Gong movement therapy. Tara has completed two yoga teacher trainings and studies in philosophy of yoga she continues massage and yoga studies annually. SHE has trained under Katyana Ryan, Natalie Rousseau, Taryn Strong, Nicole Marcia, Desi Springer and John Friend SHE is also certified in Fascial Kinesiology Taping and Fascial Rad Roller exercise and release methods.

Tara combines her passion for anatomy, physiology, and movement with the belief that the body mind connection leads us all to self healing and optimal health.
